Position: Sandwich Shop Assistant

​

Working Hours: 3 Short Shifts Per Week (Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday) 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM Each Day

About Us: At Fresh Sandwich Shop, we pride ourselves on serving high-quality, delicious sandwiches and more to our valued customers. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dedicated individual to support our kitchen team and contribute to the success of our busy breakfast, brunch, and lunchtime take-away trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly, both in person and over the telephone.

• Efficiently take and process food and drink orders for take-away customers.

• Maintain clear and accurate communication with customers and the kitchen team to ensure orders are correct.

• Assist with food preparation as needed, even if you haven't had prior experience.

• Uphold the shop's cleanliness and orderly appearance at all times.

• Keep the shop well-stocked with popular items such as crisps, chocolate, cold drinks, and cakes.

• Handle transactions, both cash and card, through the till with precision.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.

Qualifications and Attributes: While prior food preparation experience is a plus, it's not mandatory. We value enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
